Once a GSM, GPRS connection is established it is transparent to the SuperCom functions. Use the known SuperCom functions to send and receive data or files. Any custom protocol or the SuperCom supported protocols can execute on.

 

SuperCom Data Communication Library

SuperCom enables developers to build rock solid data communication software. Build applications event driven or not and transmit data or files. Develop custom protocols or use the available SuperCom protocols to transmit data or files.

SuperCom supports file transfer protocols like ZMODEM, YMODEM, XMODEM, KERMIT, ASCII.

Industrial protocols like MODBUS, 3964, RK512, AS511, LSV2 can also execute on this type of connection.

Multiple concurrent connections supported.

SuperCom can be used with many popular programming languages and compiler like: C/C++, C#, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, VFP FoxPro, Labview and others.

SuperCom supports connection over GPRS / GSM modem. Once the connection is established data can be exchanged and all supported SuperCom protocols can also be executed over this data link.

 

What do I need to work with?
It mainly depends how your computer connects to the GSM / GPRS modem. If using a serial DB-9 / DB-25 then use SuperCom Serial Library or SuperCom Suite. If connected through Ethernet (TCP/IP) use SuperCom Suite.
